Wire Frame shelves
For many years I have wanted to create a lightweight modular bookcase. Having researched lots of different approaches, I settled on a simple design, of 10mm bent wire frames to support 18mm birch plywood shelves. Curly cadmium planter
Experimenting with decorative wall planters I made one covered in twisted curly clay tendrils. The curls are glazed with warm cadmium yellows, oranges and reds. Its planted with the snake plant, or mother-in-laws tongue, Sansevieria trifasciata. Made it to go outside my youngest daughter’s room.

When I started my pottery course at Parade Mews Pottery in Tulse Hill, I was determined not to make any pots. But you end up making vessels of one sort or another as thats whats pottery is about. This was the first big piece I made and is inspired by Eduardo Chillida.
