I was asked to attend a Barclays innovation conference at their incubator for start ups. As I walked in Rob Brown, the Head of Design, pointed to the list of speakers and said I was one of them. No one had told me. I took my seat wondering what I would say.
It turned out that there’s another Charlie Francis and he’s an award-winning food inventor ‘Charlie Harry Francis’ who is a modern-day Willy Wonka. He proceeded to demonstrate how to make ice cream with liquid nitrogen.
