A print out of this photo is always on my studio wall at work, gets the most comments. Its got it all, lovely composition, perfect range of colours and tones ,and a lovely play of shadow, jumping between abstract shapes and a represented object. Kevin McCauley has taken a great photo. A Porsche 917 is what I thought all racing cars looked like as a kid.

As a twenty something  the Tag Heuer watch was reissued, and Steve McQueens picture from the  le Mans film was used in the marketing. I can’t escape a pastel blue and burnt orange porsche.
